Over 100 NGOs Call for Immediate Action to Protect Civilians / Over 100 NGOs Call to End Genocide / End the Genocide in Gaza: Act Now / Stop the Famine, Stop the Killing: Act Now
Dear [Elected Official’s Name],
Over 100 NGOs, including Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam, and Amnesty International, have released a joint statement urging governments to take immediate and decisive action to protect Palestinians. You must heed their call.
“It is time to take decisive action: demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire; lift all bureaucratic and administrative restrictions; open all land crossings; ensure access to everyone in all of Gaza; reject military-controlled distribution models; restore a principled, UN-led humanitarian response and continue to fund principled and impartial humanitarian organisations.
States must pursue concrete measures to end the siege, such as halting the transfer of weapons and ammunition. Piecemeal arrangements and symbolic gestures, like airdrops or flawed aid deals, serve as a smokescreen for inaction. They cannot replace states’ legal and moral obligations to protect Palestinian civilians and ensure meaningful access at scale. States can and must save lives before there are none left to save.”
This famine is not an accident. It is engineered. The decimation of more than 92% of homes is not an accident. It is deliberate. The killing of at least 59,587 Palestinians is not an accident. It is targeted. One-third of all deaths beingchildren is not an accident. It is systematic.
Israel has proven its intention to cleanse every Palestinian from Gaza for almost 22 months, with their leaders spouting their goals since October 2023. “To wipe out Gaza. Nothing else will satisfy us … Don’t leave a single child there, expel all the remaining ones in the end, so they have no chance of recovery.” Deputy Speaker for the Israeli Parliament, Vaturi, 9 October 2023.
Almost 60,000 Palestinians have already been slaughtered. Don’t make it a single more. Take action now.
