In another ceasefire violation, Israel has renewed its genocidal campaign in Gaza, targeting civilian infrastructure and families sheltering in displacement tents. By midday in Gaza on 29th October, Israel was confirmed to have killed 104 people overnight, including 35 children, and wounded at least 253 people.
This renewed assault, which clearly shows intent to target civilians, comes after Israel violated the “ceasefire” 125 times since it came into place on 10 October. These include failing to permit the agreed 600 aid trucks per day (often limited to around 100), shooting civilians, airstrikes on busy areas, and, on 19 October, raining over 100 airstrikes in a single night on Gaza.
The overnight attacks saw Palestinian journalist Mohammed al-Munirawi killed in a bombing of his family tent, bringing the number of journalists killed by Israel to 256 in 2 years. In central Gaza, Israel killed 18 members of one family when it bombed their home — three generations killed in a single strike.
These violations by Israel continue to be ignored by the international community. Israel must face accountability.
Israel claims that its continued assault on Gaza is due to Hamas not yet returning all deceased Israeli captives, but the recovery of their bodies is near impossible, with 83% of Gaza’s buildings bombed by Israel and thousands of dead trapped beneath them. Rather than allowing machinery into Gaza to support the recovery of the dead, Israel has once again unleashed hell on Palestinians, killing eight times the number of people they await the return of.
The bodies of hundreds of Palestinian hostages have been returned, showing clear signs of torture and execution, to little international outrage. Over 9,100 remain captive by Israel, some held for decades, and subjected to torture, starvation, and even rape by Israeli guards.
Israel has now stated it is “resuming” the same ceasefire it has broken at least 125 times since 10 October 2025. But there is no ceasefire. The starvation continues, the bombing continues, the blockade continues, the genocide continues. Over 68,650 Palestinians have already been killed by Israel, and the death toll continues to climb every hour.

Enforce a complete two-way trade embargo, ending all import and export activity.
Immediately end all arms sales and intelligence cooperation.
Ensure unimpeded access for aid and humanitarian organisations.
